Professor Howard Thomas
Howard Thomas is the Head of Department of Medicine A, Imperial College St Mary’s Campus. Having trained in hepatology with Sheila Sherlock, Professor Thomas built his own unit at Imperial College to become a significant international contributor.  He is an acknowledged world leader in the field and has a distinguished background in research on the pathogenesis and treatment of chronic hepatitis B and C.   Professor Thomas is the editor of the textbook of Viral Hepatitis and the Journal of Viral Hepatitis.

Dr Peter Karayiannis
Peter Karayiannis is a Reader in Hepatology at Imperial College. Dr Karayiannis is a virologist of international standing and is responsible for identifying and characterising some of the most important hepatitis virus variants. He brings world class expertise in molecular virology.

Professor Graham Foster
Professor Foster is a clinical academic Hepatologist at Queen Mary & Westfield College London. He is a world renowned expert on the therapy of viral hepatitis with numerous international invitations to give lectures. Having trained with Ian Kerr and George Stark at ICRF Professor Foster has gone on to become an independent expert on interferon biology.

Professor Adrian Hill
Professor Hill is one of a small number of scientists who have secured a prestigious Principal Fellowship from the Wellcome Trust. He is internationally renowned for his work on infectious diseases focused on genetic susceptibility and vaccine development. Professor Hill is a founder of Oxxon Pharmaccines.
